The Clippers led by 13 going into the fourth quarter Monday night and still lost. Toronto outscored them 47-27 in the final period and won 125-118 in Inglewood, per the AP recap on ESPN and the ESPN box score. Los Angeles has lost six straight since winning its opener against Sacramento on Oct. 21 and is 1-6.
How it got away
Scottie Barnes scored 15 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter. His turnaround jumper with 2:08 left gave Toronto its first lead of the night, part of a 12-1 run, according to the AP. The Raptors led for only 4 percent of the game, per the box score.
Barnes finished with 15 rebounds and eight assists. Immanuel Quickley scored 27 and made 10 of 11 free throws, and RJ Barrett had 26. Toronto scored 62 points in the paint and went to the line 48 times.

The Clippers' side
Kobe Sanders scored a career-high 26 and hit five 3-pointers. Isaiah Jackson went 9 for 11 for 19 points, and Darius Garland had 16 points and eight assists but also seven turnovers. Gradey Dick made his first start for the Clippers and scored 12 in 29 minutes.
Coach Tyronn Lue coached through an illness that kept him from his pregame news conference, the AP said.
The Kawhi game that wasn't
Kawhi Leonard sat with a left knee injury, so his first game back in Southern California will wait. The AP noted the Clippers had to forfeit five first-round picks and were fined $30 million for circumventing salary cap rules in how Leonard was paid, and owner Steve Ballmer was suspended for a year. Leonard was traded back to Toronto in September for Brandon Ingram, Dick, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a pick swap.
The RANT take
This was the second night of a back-to-back for both teams, and Toronto had lost a close one at the Lakers on Sunday. The Clippers had a 13-point cushion with 12 minutes to play, and they still folded. A team losing two games in two nights to short-handed opponents has a fourth-quarter problem.
The Clippers host Miami on Wednesday. Toronto visits Denver the same night.
